After researching this book online I was very shocked to find that the vast majority of reviews had the same negative response and I find myself having to disagree without hesitation. The Bodies Left Behind is a tour-de-force in which the suspense never falters throughout a deadly cat-and-mouse chase through the woods. There are plenty of intense plot twists and reverse-psychology, even reverse reverse-psychology! The best suspense novels depend on making you forget that you're reading a book and, for me, Deaver delivers without fail! I remember being so engrossed in this book that I read through the night until 6am, not realising how fast the time had gone and that it was nearly time to get to work! 

Jeffery Deaver has dreamt up a sequence of events that ensures a gripping adventure in this survival-of-the-fittest against-all-odds thriller. If this is your first Jeffery Deaver experience, it is sure to be your favourite!
